About Us:-

The Imperial Dinner Theatre is owned and operated by The Studio for the Arts, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to the promotion of arts for the region.

The Studio for the Arts was founded in 1987 by executive director Andee Evers.  In 1994 the organization purchased the old Imperial movie house in downtown Pocahontas, renovated it with an unprecedented volunteer effort and opened the the doors exactly one year later as The Imperial Dinner Theatre.  Soon the old movie house was bursting at the seams and the effort began to construct a new state of the art theatrical and educational facility in east Pocahontas.  The Imperial Dinner Theatre opened in its new location in 2004.

Look for the theater in the middle of a bean field!  Come once and you’ll come again.

Thousands of happy customers pass through our doors every year to hear Ms. Barb say.

This is a wonderful place for dinner and a show. They also offer a haunted house every year. We were lucky to be apart of it in 2015. Custom built mazes, sets ,and always something new to see. Great food and family friendly. This is an excellent place to take the family.

Ticket buying process was a little complicated. It took three times of calling to get anyone to answer. Also, once tickets were purchased, we needed to cancel the tickets. Apparently their policy is to not refund tickets. I was offered a gift certificate, but this is not what i wanted.
