Conway Running Club Spring Poker Run

CRC's Spring Poker Run will be a ~5k (distance is mostly up to you) walk/run/wheel benefitting the Humane Society of Faulkner County. The run will begin at 6pm at the trailhead located in the back parking lot of the Conway Regional Fitness Center. This event is free to all, but there is a $10 CASH ONLY buy-in if you would like to be eligible to win some $$ (bring the cash to the event). There will be a "soft" 1-hour time limit for those who choose to buy-in; we just ask that you do your best to be finished in an hour so that we can announce the winner in a timely manner.

Light refreshments will be provided, but please bring water for yourself in case it is hot.

At the end of the run, you will draw 5 cards from a deck, and we will record your hand. Everyone will have the option to trade-in up to 5 cards for $2 each card. Trade-in payments will also need to be made in cash. Please try to bring exact change. The participant with the best poker hand at the end of the run will receive half of the pot. The other half will be donated to the Humane Society of Faulkner County. In the unlikely event of a tie, we will do high card draw.

"The Humane Society of Faulkner County (HSFC) is an all-volunteer, 501c3 nonprofit animal advocacy and rescue organization. We are funded exclusively by local donations, fundraisers, and grants. HSFC’s primary purpose is to supply the staff with volunteers and additional funds to help offer low cost spay/neuter surgeries to the public. Our mission is to help pet owners and their animals through spay/neuter assistance programs, affordable vaccination clinics, pet food donations, and financial aid for sick and injured animals."
